Is hair transplant possible for men in their 70s with type U?

After seeing a change in the appearance of a friend who received it from us, he came to the hospital wondering if it could be possible for me as well.



He had U-type hair loss, and because he was older, the hair on the back of his head had started to turn white, and his skin was hard and thin.​

Density is measured using a hair magnifier, and most hairs are less than 60 microns thick.

So, we made the maximum incision, measured the minimum amount of hair that could be collected, and gave an estimate of 3,100 hairs. It has the effect of reducing the cost of surgery, and if more is collected, more can be planted.

The plan was to make a maximum incision for the first time and do a frontal transplant, and a year later, a second time, a non-incision, and a maximum transplant for the second half. I gladly accepted the decision and proceeded with the first transplant.​

The scar was minimized by suturing using the KNP suture method.

Transplantation was performed on the front of the crown using the HIH and HIE methods.

More hair was collected, so the estimate was 3,100 hairs, but a total of 3,700 hairs were transplanted.
